May 13th, 14th, and 15th, we will be at home on our ranch in Cardwell hosting the 7th Annual John Mike Downey Colt Starting and Horsemanship Clinic. The Colt Starting portion will be during the first half of the day, following with the Horsemanship portion.
On May 6th, 7th, and 8th, we will be sponsoring another Judy Myllymaki barrel horse clinic. We will have a meet and greet session at our ranch on May 6th for all participants. Another successful event that we are proud to be a part of is the Classic O-Mok-See Scholarship Show. This year’s show will be held on June 12th and 13th in Whitehall, Montana at the Saddle Club Arena. “The Classic” is in its fourth year and has awarded $4,250 in scholarships thus far. We are excited to organize and conduct Whitehall’s Barrel Racing Series again this year. This series has been a long time favorite of many barrel racers around the Whitehall and surrounding areas. Pole Bending will be run under lights after the barrels. The series dates are every Tuesday in June and July with the final show and awards on August 1st at Saddle Club’s Arena in Whitehall, Montana.
