We have been hosting several John Mike Downey clinics at our ranch that have proven to be a lot of fun and very informative. This year, we will be hosting the 6th annual John Mike Downey “Colt Starting and Horsemanship Clinic” on May 13th, 14th, and 15th.

John Mike Downey is a phenomenal horseman, and personal friend of our family, that hails from Butte, Montana and has over 35 years of horse training experience. His training methods follow those of, renowned horse trainer, Ray Hunt. John Mike believes in using soft methods of training horses instead of breaking them by force. His methods emphasize making the wrong thing hard and the right thing easy. He achieves this by rewarding the horse the moment the horse inclines to respond to him in the correct way.

John Mike’s clinics are getting very popular and we encourage you to come out to this event; whether you come as a participant or a spectator.
