"Joey" is a big powerful mare that we raised from one of our star broodmares, Leroys Gay Bar Cindy. Joey was proving to become one of Amber's star barrel horses, before tearing the sheath on one of her leg ligaments. Due to the uncertain and costly effects of surgery, Amber opted to trade Cody this mare for his 2008 colt, TM Blurred Sixes.
We feel that Joey has more than proved herself broodmare worthy, as she possessed a lot of natural barrel racing talent and heart. She has a lot of substance and bone, along with an incredible disposition. Joey's sire, PC Joes Frost, is the highest AQHA point earning son of Sun Frost. PC Joes Frost has his Superior in heeling and his ROM in heading and heeling. We plan to breed Joey to Finish Line Express this spring, if we don't use her as a recipient mare.
