Finish Line Express is a welcomed addition to our stallion battery. I can’t even begin to explain how excited, honored and blessed we are to have a stallion of this caliber in our program.
Standing at Stud - Cardwell Montana - Streakin Six Stallion Finish Line Express
Express is a completely proven horse, both as a performer and sire. He, himself has a 102 speed index and won over $54,000 on the track. He ran AAA at all distances from 350 – 870 yards. He’s a stakes winner and has sired AAA rated colts. Express was ranked as the #8 barrel futurity sire in the nation for 2008. Not only was he one of the youngest stallions on the top 10 list of barrel horse sires for 2008, but he has sired one of the highest futurity money earners, Larkin Six Express, with earnings in excess of $100,000. Express’s pedigree is nothing but black type. His sire, Streakin Six, doesn’t need any introduction. Express is one of the most accomplished and youngest Streakin Six sons in the country. His maternal line is second to none, being both proven and unlike any other Streakin Six son standing today. His dam not only had a 100 speed index, but earnings in excess of $46,000.

Finish Line Express 2011
His second dam, Charger Bar, had a 99 speed index, was an 8 time world champion running horse, and had $495,437 in earnings, herself. Merridoc doesn’t need any introduction, either. You see the Merridoc line on many great barrel horse pedigrees, as well as race horse standouts. The Tiny Charger and Tinys Gay breeding can be seen in the pedigrees of some of the leading performance lines in the industry. As for our breeding program, Express is going to be sharing mares with our other great stallion, ToroThe Blurr. We plan to breed Express to our Frenchmans Guy daughters, as well as own daughters of Moon Lark, Murrtheblurr and Paddys Irish Whiskey. Our plan is to retain some of the fillies from both of these stallions for futurity colts and eventually future broodmare candidates. Then, we would ultimately like to cross each of these two stallions’ daughters on each other, really intensifying the Easy Jet and Peggy Toro cross while adding Murrtheblurr and Merridoc blood into the mix. We will be standing Express to the public. Montana Equine in Manhattan, Montana will manage him for us during the 2011 Finish Line Expressbreeding season.

His 2011 stud fee is $1,250 plus collection and shipping cost.
We will only be artificial inseminating the outside mares that are booked to him. Be sure to ask us about our proven/multiple mare discount. Express is a 1998 sorrel stallion. He stands 15.2 hh and weighs approx. 1275 lbs. His disposition is exceptional. His previous owners Lee and Ann Woods say Express’s colts all have great dispositions and are easy to start and ride great. We can’t wait to find out for ourselves. Again, we are very excited and grateful to have this magnificent stallion in our program. We know he’s going to do good things for us and I know he could do good things for you and your program, as well. If you have any questions about Express or our program, please feel free to call or stop by our ranch anytime. We have a wide selection of horses for sale at all times ranging from weanlings to started prospects.
